CHICAGO, Ill. (Feb. 21, 2013) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Thursday that the club has partnered with WCW FA to launch a new Chicago Fire Rec Soccer Program. The new program combines club resources with WCW’s current player base to create additional recreational soccer opportunities and additional connectivity with the Chicago Fire for adults in the Chicagoland area.

“We’re excited to partner with WCW FA for this new venture and grow the recreational soccer landscape in the city of Chicago,” said Fire Chief Operating Officer Atul Khosla. “As the professional soccer club in town this opportunity allows us to reach the soccer audience in an authentic and credible fashion, by providing them the best recreational soccer experience in Chicago."

The first league of the new Chicago Fire Rec Soccer program will kick off the weekend of March 23-24. More information on WCW FA can be found here. The partnership between WCW FA and the Chicago Fire guarantees rec soccer players the best leagues, tournaments and pickup games, with an emphasis on quality, organization and fun.

"One of our core focuses from the very beginning was to provide recreational soccer players of all levels a place to call home,” said Matt Rosine, Founder and President of WCW FA. “Our partnership with the Chicago Fire has flourished over the last six years, and we're incredibly excited about what this new venture will mean to the soccer players of Chicago, specifically the thousands of loyal WCW members. This partnership allows us to provide our current and future members an impressive range of benefits that they cannot get anywhere else."
