Uruguay’s 0-0 draw with Jordan Wednesday night in Montevideo brought to end the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying cycle which saw 816 games played on six different continents over the course of nearly two-and-a-half years.
With that, the 32-team field for next summer’s big show in Brazil are set ahead of the final draw in Bahia on Friday, December 6.
What better way to celebrate an easy road to the knockout stage or begin commiserating about being drawn into the “Group of Death” than by gathering with local Chicago soccer fans that morning?
