Those beats you hear? That’s the sound of DJ Step returning to his post as the Official DJ and Music Director of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.
After kicking off the 2015 season with his Chicago Fire Hot Mix, Ben Stepnowski -- aka DJ Step -- joined the club in an official capacity on May 28. Following his appointment, DJ Step unveiled a new edition of his “Spark at Toyota Park” playlist for each Chicago Fire home match, providing the in-stadium soundtrack during all pre-game and halftime activities.
DJ Step also became a regular at Chicago Fire Soccer Club events throughout the year, including the club’s Anniversary Party, Season Kickoff Luncheon and grand opening of The PrivateBank Fire Pitch.
“It’s an absolute honor to be collaborating with the Chicago Fire again this year and continuing to bring the noise on matchday in Toyota Park,” said DJ Step. “This club and community posses a special character that’s unmatched in the city of Chicago and I consider each day a special opportunity to deliver for Fire supporters the unique experience they deserve.”
Be sure to check out DJ Step’s match-specific playlist in advance of every Chicago Fire home game and make it the soundtrack of your car rides, tailgates and other matchday extravaganzas. Once inside the stadium, look for DJ Step spinning from his new location in the Valspar Fire Pit at the south end of Toyota Park. All of his 2016 playlists will be archived here (accessible via the Matchday tab above) and you can also follow him on his social channels:
