David Accam earned his sixth international cap as part of the starting XI for Ghana in the Black Stars’ African Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda Saturday in Accra, Ghana.
Ghana entered their final qualifying fixture having already secured entry to next year’s continental championship to be staged in Gabon. Accam took advantage of his starting opportunity and played 73 minutes, helping his side to a 1-1 draw. Austrian-based forward Samuel Tetteh provided the lone goal in the game for the Black Stars.
