CHICAGO, Ill. – Midfielder Corben Bone, whose option was declined earlier in the week by the Fire, was selected sixth overall by the Philadelphia Union in Phase One of the 2013 MLS Re-Entry process Thursday.
The club’s first-round selection in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, Bone struggled to find playing time over the course of his four seasons with the Men in Red, tallying a goal and two assists over 23 competitive appearances in his time with the Fire.
