#Copa100 Trophy Tour Completes Whirlwind Visit to Windy City

As the countdown to the start of the landmark Copa America Centenario dipped below 50 days last week, the tournament's organizing committee continued a national trophy tour that included a four-day swing through Chicago. Below is a collection of highlights of the trophy's stay in the Windy City, including Fire great Frank Klopas' memories of playing in the 1995 Copa America tournament.


Featuring many of the world's top international teams and players, Copa America Centenario kicks off June 3 and comes to Chicago's Soldier Field for group stage matches June 5, June 7 and June 10 as well as a semifinal match on June 22. Click here for more ticket and schedule information.

Watch: Frank Klopas on "Good Day Chicago"


Former Chicago Fire player and coach and current Fire broadcaster Frank Klopas has a unique perspective on Copa America, having competed and scored a goal in the 1995 edition of the South American event while helping the U.S. Men's National Team to the semifinals. Klopas visited FOX's "Good Day Chicago" to chat with Corey McPherrin about the significance of #Copa100:

Chicago White Sox Game | Michael Stephens Throws First Pitch


After enjoying apre-game kick-around with the Chicago White Sox, Fire midfielder Michael Stephens stuck around to promote Copa America Centenario and throw out the first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field.
