CHICAGO(April 1, 2016) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that Fire House Fitness will open for business with a kickoff event open to the public at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch (3626 N. Talman Ave. in Chicago, IL) on Friday, April 1 from 7-9 p.m.
Fire House Fitness is the latest addition to the club’s athletic hub on the north side of Chicago. The state-of-the-art functional fitness facility will provide individual and group fitness programming to people of all athletic backgrounds. Fire House Fitness will also offer sport-specific conditioning programs for teams and individuals.
“The PrivateBank Fire Pitch continues to grow as a one-of-a-kind facility in Chicago and across Major League Soccer,” said Atul Khosla, COO of the Chicago Fire. "This facility offers our community a unique array of options to develop their personal health. Additionally, Neil is an established professional in the fitness community and we’re excited that he’ll oversee this space."
Among the unique aspects of Fire House Fitness is its access to the club’s 150,000-square-foot facility at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch. The facility boasts two full-size outdoor fields April through November and a 100,000-square-foot dome with multiple field configurations in the winter. The dome will allow Fire House Fitness participants to train through Chicago’s winter months without an interruption in their fitness plans.

Whether you’re a professional athlete or just someone looking to improve their fitness, we will be able to cater to those needs.”
The PrivateBank Fire Pitch is Chicago’s premier destination for year-round soccer. The $20-million dollar project features both indoor and outdoor soccer fields depending on the season and serves as a practice site for the club’s first team periodically throughout the year. In addition to soccer fields and Fire House Fitness, the facility also includes Heineken Pub97, a bar and restaurant with a patio, fire pit and big-screen televisions.
