The Chicago Fire Soccer Club joins many in the Chicagoland area and beyond mourning the sudden passing on March 7 of Bill Dolehide, the Vice President of Crestwood Soccer Club and a member of the club's board for more than 16 years.
The Chicago Fire will hold a moment of silence in Dolehide's memory prior to the club's home match vs. Portland Timbers FC on Saturday, March 31 (5 PM).
In his role with Crestwood, Dolehide worked tirelessly to grow the sport of soccer in Chicagoland and was a frequent partner of the Chicago Fire.
