CHICAGO (Jan. 18, 2018) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and goalkeeper Jorge Bava have mutually agreed to terminate the player’s contract.
“Jorge expressed a desire to return to Uruguay,” said Fire general manager Nelson Rodríguez. “We’d like to thank Jorge for his time in Chicago and wish him and his family all the best.”
Bava signed with the Fire on Jan. 7, 2017 and appeared in eight regular season matches for the Men in Red.
