BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (Aug. 6, 2018) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club and defender Rafael Ramos have mutually agreed to terminate the player’s contract. Ramos was under contract for the 2018 season with a club option for 2019.
Ramos was acquired on Jan. 18, 2018 in a trade with Orlando City SC. The Portuguese defender appeared in three MLS regular season and two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches for the Men in Red.
