CHICAGO (Thursday, May 29, 2014) – Chicago Fire midfielder Patrick Nyarko underwent a successful procedure to remove a bone spur from his left ankle Thursday morning.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Anand Vora of the Illinois Bone and Joint Institute.

The 28-year-old midfielder is currently recovering from a sprained knee that he suffered against Sporting Kansas City on May 18.
Nyarko has scored one goal and tallied two assists in nine matches this season.
