CHICAGO (Sept. 12, 2014) – The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced Friday that the club has loaned rookie defender Marco Franco to NASL side Indy Eleven. The Fire will retain the option to recall Franco during the loan period.
Selected in the first round (13th overall) in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, Franco was loaned to the OC Blues on Aug. 8 and made four USL-PRO appearances.
A native of Chino Hills, Calif., Franco started seven of his eight MLS Reserve League appearances prior to joining the OC Blues.
