As Part of an Expanded Multiyear Agreement, Hyundai Named Exclusive Import Vehicle of the Fire, Receiving Sleeve Patch on First Team Jerseys, and Entitlement of Season Ticket Member Free Parking Benefit
CHICAGO (October 5, 2023) – Chicago Fire FC and Hyundai announced an expanded multiyear agreement that will feature Hyundai as the Fire’s sleeve sponsor on the Club’s right sleeve for both the home and away jerseys. As part of the partnership, Hyundai has been named the Exclusive Import Vehicle of Chicago Fire FC, the Presenting Sponsor of Halftime Pump-Up Song videoboard feature, and the entitlement sponsor of Chicago Fire Season Ticket Member free parking benefit.
The sleeve sponsor patch was unveiled last night as part of an on-field presentation during the Club’s match vs. Inter Miami CF. For photo and video of the unveiling, please click HERE.
“The Chicago Fire are excited to announce the expansion of our partnership with Hyundai as our jersey sleeve sponsor,” said Chicago Fire FC President of Business Operations Dave Baldwin. “Hyundai has been a great partner to our Club and we’re thankful for their continued investment in our success on and off the field, and we look forward to watching our players proudly showcase their logo on the pitch.”
Through the expanded multiyear agreement, Hyundai will become the Exclusive Import Vehicle of Chicago Fire FC, as well as the Club’s jersey sleeve sponsor, with a logo patch appearing on both the First Team’s home and away jerseys. As part of the agreement, Hyundai will receive an increased presence during Chicago Fire home matches, being named as the Presenting Sponsor of the Pump-Up Song videoboard feature, being played during halftime of regular season home matches, with fans voting for the song they want to listen to during halftime. Promotion of the Pump-Up Song feature will include integration of Hyundai’s logo on rotational and LED graphics in-stadium, as well as through the Fire’s mobile application. Additionally, as part of the partnership, Hyundai will receive in-stadium LED signage, as well as branding on the Fire’s post-match press conference mic flag, and rotational banner ads across the Club’s website.
Hyundai will become the entitlement sponsor of the Chicago Fire’s recently announced free parking benefit, Season Ticket Free Parking Driven by Hyundai. As part of the Fire’s all-new benefits for Season Ticket Members for the 2024 MLS season, complimentary parking was offered to existing Season Ticket Members, as well as any new Season Ticket Members, who purchased a minimum of two tickets for the full 2024 season. Hyundai, as the entitlement sponsor, will receive on-site matchday branding, as well as integration into all promotions around the free parking benefit, including social media and email communications.
The announcement of Hyundai as the Chicago Fire’s jersey sleeve sponsor is an extension and expansion of an existing deal, with the automaker currently sponsoring the Club’s pre-match “Keys to the Match” video series, as well the matchday roster announcement, “Starting XI presented by Hyundai.” Additionally, Hyundai serves as a partner to the Club’s grassroots marketing initiatives, providing the Fire with a PALISADE SUV to travel to and from each community event.
The Chicago Fire will play their final home game of the season as the Club hosts Charlotte FC on Oct. 7 at Soldier Field at 7:30 p.m. CT. On Saturday, Oct. 7, the Fire will show love to the best fans in MLS on Fan Appreciation Night at Soldier Field. From singing and cheering to traveling across the country, the fans are the heart and soul of Chicago Fire FC, and the Club wants to show its gratitude. A special lapel pin and concessions discounts will highlight an evening of special surprises. The match will be broadcast on Apple TV, streamed in English on wlsam.com, and transmitted locally in Spanish on TUDN 1200 AM.
