CHICAGO (Oct. 13, 2021) - Chicago Fire FC today announced a new partnership with Revolution Brewing as the āOfficial Craft Brewery of Chicago Fire FC.ā As a part of todayās announcement, Revolution Brewing revealed its new Chicago Fire signature beer, Hazy Pitch, which will hit store shelves throughout Chicagoland in early 2022.
Fans and supportersā first opportunity to taste Hazy Pitch will come on Oct. 20 when Revolution hosts an away-match viewing party at its Brewery and Taproom (3340 N. Kedzie Ave) as Chicago Fire FC battles FC Cincinnati. The event will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m. CT with kick-off for the match slated for 6:30 p.m. (WGN, CFFC Live).

The all-new Hazy Pale Ale Hazy Pitch was handcrafted and perfected at Revolutionās production brewery and Taproom by Brewmaster Jim Cibak. Described as ārefreshing and easy-drinking with a tropical kick,ā the new beer will be available at retail throughout Chicagoland in February. It will join Rev Pils and Fist City in Revolutionās City Series ā a collection of locally branded beers available exclusively in Chicagoland. Once on store shelves, Hazy Pitch will be available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans. In the meantime, Hazy Pitch will be available on draft at the Revolution Brewpub (2323 N. Milwaukee Ave.) and Taproom (3340 N. Kedzie) beginning Wednesday, October 20.
Revolution Brewingās partnership will include brand presence in Soldier Field on matchday and on the Clubās broadcasts on WGN and CFFC Live. Revolution and the Fire will also run a VIP sweepstakes during the 2022 season - the Clubās 25th in MLS.
Revolution Brewing is the largest independently owned brewery in Illinois. Its beers are brewed only in Chicago between the original brewpub space in Logan Square and production brewery in nearby Avondale. Revolution currently distributes in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nashville, New Jersey, New York City, and Wisconsin.
Following the FIFA international break, the Fire return to league play this Saturday, Oct. 16 against the league-leading New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast live on WGN-TV, CFFC Live and TUDN 1200 AM.
