Chicago Fire eMLS player Enrique Espinoza was featured in CBS 2 Chicago story on Sunday night as a local connection to the rise in the popularity of Esports.
Espinoza spoke with CBS' Megan Mawicke on his path on how Esports can connect gamers to professional sports teams sports teams, and vice versa.
“It creates a good atmosphere, not just for the players but for the fans," Espinoza told CBS. "Not only do they have the first team to go watch in the official games but now they have someone else to support, the official player on their favorite club. It just opens up so many new avenues."
