The 2017 MLS Waiver Draft came and went in just under two minutes on Wednesday afternoon, as the Chicago Fire elected to pass on making a pick with the 14th selection.
Just two players were taken during the second draft of the MLS offseason, as ex-San Jose defender Kip Colvey was nabbed by the Colorado Rapids with pick No. 3 and former LA Galaxy goalkeeper Clement Diop was chosen by the Montreal Impact in the sixth spot.
Up next in the MLS offseason calendar is stage one of the Re-Entry Draft, which will take place on Friday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. CT.
