PHILADELPHIA & NEW YORK (June 28, 2018)
– Bravo Media’s Emmy and James Beard Award-winning culinary competition series
“
Top Chef” and Spectra, one of the nation’s leading venue management, food services and hospitality companies, announced today that together they will launch the series’ first-ever premium concession stand concept with
Top Chef Quickfire
at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Ill.
The stand will feature a menu inspired by winning culinary creations from the series’ past cheftestants.
Top Chef Quickfire
will open at the Chicago Fire’s home stadium on Saturday, June 30, when the Fire play New York City Football Club (NYCFC).
Menu items will rotate seasonally to showcase an array of dishes from previous seasons. The kickoff menu will include options inspired by Chicago native and “Top Chef” Season 15 winner Joe Flamm, along with Carrie Baird (Season 15), Chris Scott (Season 15), John Tesar (Season 14), Dale Talde (Season 8). Radhika Desai (Season 5), Spike Mendelsohn (Season 4), Tre Wilcox (Season 3), Cliff Crooks (Season 2), and “Top Chef” Season 1 winner Harold Dieterle.
“We are always looking for new and exciting opportunities to give our dedicated and new ‘Top Chef’ viewers a taste of the series and the culinary talent who have competed over the years,” said Maria Laino DeLuca, Senior Vice President, Consumer and Trade Marketing, Bravo Media. “Launching a premium concession with Spectra allows Bravo’s ‘Top Chef’ fans the ability to experience the brand they love while rooting for their favorite teams.”
Scott Swiger, Spectra’s Vice President, Culinary Excellence, added: “We decided on a
Top Chef Quickfire
concept because it makes high-end cuisine approachable for fans to enjoy, while enhancing the experience of going to a soccer game. Spectra is an industry innovator, so we’re excited to be partnering with ‘Top Chef’ to bring their culinary artistry from television and put it in the hands of their fans. They’ll get an actual taste of what they’ve been seeing on-screen for 15 seasons now.”
Top Chef Quickfire
will be open during home games for the Chicago Fire and other major stadium events.
“Our community loves its food as much as its sports,” Steven Landek, Mayor of Village of Bridgeview, said. “’Top Chef’ opening its first fast-casual concept at Toyota Park in Bridgeview will delight soccer fans and foodies alike.”
