Out on the west coast, we wanted to catch up with a Californian that had a Fire perspective and thought, “Who better than Eric Wynalda?”
Eric closed out an illustrious career with the Chicago Fire in 2001, joining a small group of Fire players to hit double-digit goals in a season before being inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame as a Fire player. With 34 goals in 107 appearances, Wynalda is the second all-time leading goal scorer in U.S. Men’s National Team history behind Landon Donovan, appeared in three World Cups and scored a pretty big goal back in Jeff’s hometown of Detroit in 1994. Now a commentator for Fox Soccer Channel, Wynalda has always spoke his mind and of late, has been vocal in voicing his opinions about what needs to change in the American soccer landscape.
Jeff and Eric cover all these topics in this All-In Podcast.
