In a year of almost no upsets, the #1 seeds kept up their domination of the Aldi Goal of the Year Tournament Monday as Daniel Paladini's game-tying free kick (June 8 vs. Portland) easily downed #2 Maicon Santos' juke (April 7 vs. New York) to win the Nowak Bracket. Paladini will face CJ Bracket champion Chris Rolfe's long bomb (May 29 vs. Charlotte) in the first of two semifinals Wednesday.
