PARKING
- Media members will be provided a parking pass for the North Garage as available. Media members must show their parking pass to the garage attendant, either on their phone or via a printed copy.
- TV crews must contact Soldier Field and the Chicago Fire in advance for any exterior or live hits. Any TV crews staying for the duration of the game are asked to park at their assigned pedestals.
MEDIA WILL CALL / ENTRANCE
- Media Will Call will be located outside of the ticket booth across from Gate 10.
- After credential pickup, media will enter through Gate 14. Print and online reporters may access the press box on Level A via the elevators in the Gate 14 lobby. Photographers and ENG crews may access the Photo Work Room on field level by entering the white door next to the elevators and going left at the bottom of the stairs.
STADIUM ACCESS
- Media access to the stadium will begin two hours prior to kickoff.
- Per MLS protocols, access to the locker room, concourse, stadium seats and clubs is restricted.
- Print and online media members will be assigned a seat in the press box.
- The photo work room will be located near the Northwest tunnel on field level.
- Per MLS protocols, media members will not have direct access to players, coaches or Club delegation members at any point other than during the post-game press conference, and photographers are not allowed in the locker room at any time.
- No cameras or media members are permitted on the field at any time.
- Media members must adhere to the approved access shown on their credential. Any media member who is found to be in a restricted space may be requested to leave and/or relinquish their season credential.
DIRECTIONS TO SOLDIER FIELD
Plan your route to your next CFFC matchday at historic Soldier Field by driving, taking public transportation, walking, using rideshare or biking.
Driving
From I-55:
- Take I-55, the Stevenson Expressway, northbound to Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 North.
- Take Lake Shore Drive to the 18th Drive exit.
From I-290:
- Take I-290, the Eisenhower Expressway, east to Congress Parkway.
- Take Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive.
- Turn Right and take Columbus Drive south to the 18th Drive exit.
From I-90/94
- Take I-90/94, the Dan Ryan Expressway, north to Lake Shore Drive/22nd street exit.
- Stay to the right and exit to Lake Shore Drive.
- Take Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 north to the 18th Drive exit.
From I-94:
- Take I-94, the Kennedy Expressway, south to the Congress Parkway exit.
- Follow Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive.
- Turn right on Columbus Drive and follow Columbus south to the 18th Drive exit.
Public Transportation/Walking
CTA:
No matter your point of origin in and around Chicago, the CTA can help you travel to and from Soldier Field quickly and efficiently. Soldier Field can be reached on the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express bus. When departing the Soldier Field area after the match, board #146 buses along the west side of the Transportation Center at the corner of McFetridge and Museum Campus Drive, just northeast of the stadium.
The Red, Orange, and Green Lines stop at Roosevelt Station, between State Street and Wabash Avenue, where transfers can be made to the #146 Inner Drive/Michigan Express bus or walk east on Roosevelt Road through Museum Campus to the stadium.
Metra Rail:
Take advantage of convenient Metra rail lines to reach Soldier Field.

Rideshare:
The designated pregame drop-off locations are at the 18th St. turnaround just west of Lake Shore Drive and on Balbo Dr. at Columbus Dr.
Biking:
Bicycle Parking is located near Gates 7 & 14, the Waldron Deck & Field Museum.
