Erick Hernandez, Language Coach (Club)
Hernandez, a dedicated language teacher with a passion for education and a wealth of experience in language instruction spanning over 24 years. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and Spanish as a Foreign Language in both the United States and various international locations. His journey as an educator has taken him on diverse paths, and has had the honor of serving as the Head of Language Education at international schools, where he helped shape language programs and fostered an enriching learning environment for students from different cultural backgrounds.
Additionally, Hernadez’ expertise extends to the corporate world, where he has managed and instructed tailored language courses for professionals in Central America, ensuring that they effectively communicate across linguistic barriers. He holds multiple certifications that showcase his commitment in language teaching, including a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), a CELTA (Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults), and an ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera) certificate.
Furthermore, Hernandez’ artistic pursuits led him to earn a BFA in Graphic Design, adding a creative edge to his instructional approach. In recent years, he has had the honor of collaborating with the Chicago Fire professional soccer players, providing language training to enhance their communication skills on and off the field. Simultaneously, he has also gained experience in interpreting and translating documents across various domains.
Currently, Hernandez is conducting Spanish and English courses at the club’s facilities and headquarters, eagerly working towards helping the team achieve its goals in the quickest and most effective way possible.
He is truly passionate about language education and firmly believe in its power to bridge gaps and connect people from different backgrounds.
